I love combining the outdoors, good drink and connecting with friends and the body in our outdoor yoga classes. Held rain or shine, bring your mat, your stretchy pants and an appetite for yummy local fare! See our SCHEDULE page for a "Sip and Stretch" yoga class near you in Spring of 2021!
Yin and Restorative classes helps with focus on relaxing your body and cleansing your mind with fewer positions.
Hatha classes focuses on helping you build your foundation or knowledge and postures. This is the foundation of all my classes.
Most classes have a theme focusing on two sections of the body (hips and shoulders), or more metaphorical themes such as Patience and Strength.
In Chakra classes, I often do a mixture of all types of yoga with a large portion devoted to mediation. We focus on the specific chakra and incorporate hatha asanas (poses) that help open any blockages in that area of the body.
Yogalates (Yoga and Pilates) is a more core strengthening and individual muscle focus class. In our outdoor classes, if we hit upon a rainy day we often do a stand up Yogalates style of yoga in runners!
Vinyasa classes are all about flow and are more athletic, blending coordination and movement. Vinyasa flows are incorporated in all my classes with the exception of Yin and Chakra classes.
